Kenya Eugene is a Caribbean Singer/Songwriter. She has been professionally in the industry for about 11 years give or take. “Kenya” was born and raised on St.Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. She’s the younger sister of Dezarie, international roots reggae artist. Her passions are, singing, songwriting, modeling and acting.

Because of my Caribbean heritage and musical influences I gravitate towards a number of genres, which you can hear in my music. I consider myself to be more of an international artist, although I am a balladeers at heart, you can hear musical influences such as reggae, r&b, pop, and soul in my work.

My writing has evolved tremendously through practice and consistence. I have honed my skills to the point where I can now open up and be totally vulnerable through my music and still have the ability to switch it up and keep my topics very light and fun. I have also been doing a lot of writing collaborations, which is something I never did in the past. I am continuously striving to challenge myself.

My main focus is and will always be my music. Writing, modeling & acting all relate back to my music in one way or another. The goal is to make my contribution to the world through my talents. What better way to accomplish my goals than to utilize all of the gifts that I have been blessed with?

First off the release of my new single “Always Love You”. Also the placement of my new music in some unreleased movies and series that cannot be named at this time.
To date, I’ve made several appearances on film, some repeat roles. Green Leaf, Bobby Brown’s life story, The Resident, The Gifted, just to name a few, and a few other series that can’t be mentioned at the moment. Presently working towards securing leading roles in 2019/2020.
